For God So Loved Cross
Over a month ago the Lord gave me an image of the arm of Jesus on a cross with the words from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” When I sat down to design it on my computer I stopped to check what was up on Facebook and Lana Vawser had made a posting titled “2019 – The Year of My Outstretched Arm and Major demonstrations of My Power” ! Something else was going on at the same time. I kept seeing the number 1023 over and over and it finally dawned on me that that was my wedding anniversary! I know… Why would it take that long to figure that out?! Paul and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage in a couple of days! I decided to look the number 1023 up in Strong’s Concordance and was shocked with the meaning. It comes from the Greek word “brachión”and means the arm of the Lord! How cool is that?! This was just confirmation that this the Lord wanted me to make this cross!
I truly pray that this cross bless you as it has been a blessed journey for me from thought to wood. All Glory is to be given to Him for this cross and for overwhelming love of Jesus who stretched out His arms and died…for us.
It stands about 22″ tall and is made out of mahogany, cherry, walnut and maple woods. I use orange oil to seal it and bring out the natural colors!
